to choose a letter from the

upper line of characters.

Example: “L”

Press /hol5\ for uppercase

characters,

Repeat to choose more characters. You can enter up to 16 characters.

Note; Press I auto | to move the edit cursor on the lower line to the right.

Press I SBC I to move the edit cursor to the left.

4. Press [e I to program the

Alpha entry into the channel.

You can program up to 250 channels with alpha characters. If you try to

program channels over 250, “FULL ALPHA MEM” appears in the screen.

Press C SCAN I j I ^ or C PROG ]to exit the Program Alpha mode.

To display the alpha characters, press [ while in the Scanning or

Manual Mode.
